What's New

This year several equipment changes are made to the Audi A5. All models now include standard S line exterior design decor, illuminated door sills, sport front seats, and gray oak natural wood inlays. Matrix-design LED headlights and new 18-inch wheels are also made standard.

A new Audi Sport interior package is available, and it adds red stitching and carbon inlays, and the Premium Plus models now include a Bang & Olufsen sound system. Also, the Quantum Gray paint color has been replaced with the Chronos Gray option.

Audi A5 Standard Features

Each body style in the Audi A5 lineup offers something special and unique. If you're looking for a compact size packed with power, choose the A5 Coupe. For a comfortable sedan feel with plenty of room, it's the A5 Sportback, or slide behind the wheel of the A5 Cabriolet for fun in the sun when you power the top down. No matter which one gets your vote, they all deliver dual exhaust outlets, LED headlights, and LED taillights with dynamic turn signals. For a fun, modern twist, the taillights blink in a sequence lighting pattern when you turn your signals on. Heated front seats and leather upholstery come standard as well as tri-zone climate control and a panoramic sunroof on the A5 Coupe and Sportback.

Audi A5 Technology

Floating about the Audi A5's dashboard is the standard MMI® infotainment center with an intuitive 10.1-inch touchscreen, conveniently controlled by a click wheel mounted on the console. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® come standard as well to stream your favorite music or podcast through the standard 10-speaker audio system. For an even greater musical experience, Long Beach and Anaheim drivers can upgrade to the available Bang & Olufsen® 19-speaker Premium sound system. Two USB ports come standard or customers can upgrade trim levels for even more ports, an available wireless charging device, navigation, and the fully-customizable Virtual Cockpit.

Audi Pre Sense Front comes standard on the Audi A5 and includes Front Collision Warning. Pedestrian Detection, and Automatic Emergency Braking. Upgrade trim levels to get the available Audi Pre Sense Side, which helps detect impending side collisions and Audi Pre Sense Rear, which includes Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Traffic Sign Recognition and front and rear parking sensors are also available as is parallel and perpendicular parking assist.

Audi A5 Performance

The Audi A5 entry-level is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 201 horsepower. Or LA County residents have the option to upgrade to a turbo-four engine that generates 261 horsepower and 273 lb/ft of torque. Both engine options come standard with quattro® all-wheel drive and a seven-speed S tronic® dual-clutch automatic transmission.
